because He RESTORES

Most of you know how hard the last several years have been for me. Well, I am here to tell you that when the Lord makes you a promise, He delivers.

A year ago, when I was so down and lost, I was reading in Isaiah and came across a scripture I had never noticed before. It is:

Isaiah 54:5-7 "For your Maker is your husband the LORD Almighty is his name…The LORD will call you back as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit a wife who married young, only to be abandoned.…but with deep compassion, I will bring you back and restore you."

As I have mention on my Facebook, I met someone earlier this year, my Thomas is the sweetest man, I have ever met. He loves the Lord but still most amazing to me is that he loves me and the way he loves me.

I feel so blessed that I don’t even know what to say. I just wanted to give you hope if you feel God has deserted you because He does RESTORE and I am seeing that happen right before my eyes.

Oh, yes! Oh, the love of God! The Lord is ultimately and intimately acquainted with you. He sees you, and He wants you to "know that you know" that He has not abandoned or forsaken you (Hebrews 13:5). He wants you to know that at all times, especially in the dark night of your soul, He is with you and He is the Great Restorer.

Listen to what God said through the prophet Joel: "So I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten…" (Joel 2:25a). God loves to restore what has been devoured in our lives. That's His specialty.

For the first time in years, I am happy and hopeful about my future. I am more at peace than I have been in years and I am just so thankful.

"May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit." Romans 15:13 (NIV)


Because…

Because of my past pain.
Because Jesus loves me.
Because Jesus hears.
Because Jesus redeems.
Because Jesus restores.
Because God is faithful to His own.
Because God is working.
Because of God's mercy.
Because God answers.
Because He is in the details.
Because of your prayers.
Because of your hope for us.
Because of your burden.
Because of your tears.
Because GOD makes everything beautiful in His time.
